COVID-19 Antigen

The COVID-19 pandemic, popularly known as the coronavirus pandemic or simply as the coronavirus, is an ongoing global pandemic resulting from the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Its first case was identified in December 2019 in the city of Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, in the People’s Republic of China, when cases of a group of sick people with an unknown type of pneumonia were reported. Most of those affected were linked to workers at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognized it as a pandemic on March 11, 2020, when it reported that there were 4,291 deaths and 118,000 cases in 114 countries.

As of September 17, 2021, more than 228.4 million cases of the disease have been reported in 258 countries and territories around the world, and 4,692,850 deaths.
